The NSW Department of Education requires all staff to participate in an initial child protection induction.

The Department is pleased to present Child Protection Awareness Training, a self-paced e-learning course that provides this initial child protection induction training for all staff. 

This course is also Department of Education MyPL accredited, registered with NSW Educational Standards Authority (previously known as BOSTES) and will attract accreditation for identified professional learning at Proficient level for three Australian Professional Teaching Standards.

The PCard Training for Reviewing Officers and Card Applicants is for all Reviewing Officers and new card applicants wishing to apply for PCards after the 27 March 2017.

Reviewing Officers must complete this training course, irrespective of when the application was submitted.
